Description

Qualifications: Bachelor of Civil engineering with relative material testing certifications Competencies: : Familiarity with ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, BS 18001, high levels of accuarcy, good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with a diverse and multi cultured team, positive attitude, high organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, proficiency in Microsoft Office, proficiency in written and verbal English and Arabic Experience: 3-5 years of experience Summary of functions and responsibilities:  Taking responsibility of the maintenance of all laboratory equipment  Ensuring implementation of all quality, health, safety, and environment procedures  Overseeing the daily laboratory’s operations, and ensuring that all testing is executed in line with followed standards and compliance with company policies and procedures for safety and integrity  Directing and advising the site and lab technician teams  Designing and directing the testing or control of processing procedures  Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet testing schedules  Performing tests and corresponding analysis on sample products of fresh concrete and aggregates for slump, temperature, density, air content, specific gravity, absorption, moisture, sieve, and chemical properties  Analyzing product failure data and laboratory test results to determine causes of problems and develop solutions  Monitoring material performance and evaluate material deterioration  Conducting field sampling, testing, and non destructive testing.  Writing and reviewing technical reports  Conducting research to develop custom tests to meet clients’ expectations  Training and mentoring Senior Lab and Site technicians  Ensuring the adherence to the desired technical standards, and staying up to date with new technologies and developments  Managing relationships with clients 
